Meta Research

I’m a UX Researcher on the Video team. I use qualitative and quantitative methodologies to help understand how we can make Facebook better for the people who use it. Prior to joining Meta, I completed my PhD in Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin and was a doctoral intern at the Social Media Collective at Microsoft Research Labs. My academic research has focused on how journalists and human rights researchers use social media platforms to find and verify visual content and information related to human rights abuses.
