I am a Research Scientist in the Computational Social Science group at Meta. My work develops methods to improve measurement and mitigation of social inequalities and harmful content on the platform, while also protecting user privacy. I also investigate the impact of Meta/Instagram on civic life and elections. Before my work here, I earned a PhD in Sociology from Duke University, where I specialized in culture, computational methods, and networks. I also earned an MSc in Evidence-based social intervention from University of Oxford.
