I’m a Computational Social Scientist who focuses on the intersection of well-being and social technology. My team and I do a combination of large scale data science, international surveys and qualitative work to understand how technology affects social support, happiness, loneliness and social capital. My work has won Best Paper awards at CHI and CSCW, and influenced the design of Meta’s News Feed, suicide prevention tools and privacy settings.
