Meta Research

I joined Facebook in 2015 with the VR Apps team. I am the inventor of the pyramid projection used by 360 video streaming and am now a Research Scientist on the 360 Media team, contributing to dynamic streaming for Oculus Video and 360 Facebook videos.

I was granted my PhD in computer science by University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2016. I hold a MS in Multimedia and Networking granted by National Taiwan University.
