Researcher

I am a clinical psychologist and mixed methods researcher on the Foundational Well-being Team at Facebook. I apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand how psychological concepts like self-regulation and loneliness are related to positive and negative experiences using Facebook.

I earned my PhD from Duke University, and completed clinical and postdoctoral fellowships at Brown and Stanford. My previous research focused on self-regulation, emotion regulation, and biologically-based vulnerability to mental disorders like depression. I have broad clinical training and specialized in psychotherapy for adults with mood and anxiety disorders.
