I am a Machine Learning Technical Lead on the Facebook Video Recommendations Core Ranking team, where I develop advanced ML algorithms to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of video recommendations used by billions of users worldwide. This work has contributed to the remarkable growth of active users on Facebook, particularly through the success of Facebook Watch, which reaches more than 1.25 billion users monthly (as of September 2020). Before that, I also significantly contributed to the success of Facebook through my work on News Feed and Ads Ranking Machine Learning, resulting in an impressive increase in overall user engagement and revenue for the company.

In addition, I have served as a program committee member and reviewer for several top-tier ML conferences including AISTATS, WebConf (WWW), ECIR, UMAP and journals in the areas of recommender systems, information retrieval, and deep learning. Before joining Facebook, I graduated from Columbia University with a MS in Electrical Engineering specializing in Computer Vision.
