Before Facebook, I received my PhD in community psychology from Wichita State University, where I studied how to conduct research that drives change in communities, society, and policies. Specifically, I studied older adults’ use of computers, social media’s impact on romantic relationships, sexual assault prevalence on college campuses, and the impact of early childhood development programs in rural settings. I’ve been at Facebook since 2017, where I previously led the Navigation research team for the Facebook App and now lead the Privacy Product Research Team for Facebook Inc.
