I am a Distributed Systems Researcher and Manager at Meta. I lead a team focused on researching and developing novel systems for AI to enable efficient, large-scale, distributed training of deep learning models. These include areas such as checkpointing, real-time personalization/model publishing, and transfer learning. I previously received my PhD at Stanford University, focusing on distributed systems for machine learning and storage. I also have a strong background in computer architecture and have been a CPU performance architect at Intel in the past.
