I am a research scientist manager on the News Feed team. I work on modeling the topical content of Facebook posts, trying to understand what topics people are interested in, so that we can provide the most relevant posts to people. Prior to Facebook, I completed my PhD in computer science at Carnegie Mellon University, on the subject of machine learning methods for personalization, advised by Carlos Guestrin.
