Software Engineer
I am a Software Engineer working on Machine Learning at Instagram. My work at Instagram concerns platforms and tools to support engineering of Recommendation products throughout the Instagram app.
Before joining Instagram, I worked as a Research Staff Member and Distinguished Engineer at IBM, focusing on research and product development in Programming Languages, Software Engineering, and AI. I have co-authored over 50 papers in peer-reviewed conferences and journals, and been named an ACM Distinguished Scientist. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
