I lead a security engineering organization focused on protecting products that help people and businesses connect to the digital economy and access the financial services they need. Today, we enable people and businesses in over 160 countries to make payments in 55 currencies. My personal interests include security and privacy issues in emerging internet technologies. In the past I've held security leadership roles at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Capital One and led both cybersecurity and network research programs spanning high-performance systems, privacy, anomaly detection, machine learning, and stream processing. I have over 1800 citations and have led teams to 2 R&D 100 awards.
