I’m a behavioral scientist on Facebook’s User Experience Research team. Before joining Facebook, I was a professor of psychology and statistical consultant. I earned a PhD and MA in social psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA in psychology at Boston University. My research examines social and personality factors underlying motivation and information-processing strategies. My work has been presented in a variety of academic contexts and was featured in media outlets such as Forbes, NPR, Business Insider, Men’s Health and the BBC.
