I am a data scientist on the Infrastructure Strategy team at Facebook. I mainly focus on statistical and predictive modeling to help improve connectivity around the world. I enjoy making systems more efficient with algorithmic optimizations. After receiving 2 engineering degrees, I got my PhD from Stanford University on spatial statistics. Before joining Facebook, I worked on providing predictive risk models for catastrophic events and introduced innovative capital market transaction vehicles. I am a recipient of multiple awards such as Henrey J. Ramey, Jr. Award for “Outstanding Research” from Stanford University and “Structured Institutional Product of the Year” from America Awards 2014 for transfer of €1.4B billion of risk.
