I joined Meta as a Research Scientist in September 2018, where I work on Deep Learning and AI System Co-design. Previously, I was a Research and Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft Research Asia, VMware Inc., and Intel Labs. My interests lie in improving the performance of machine learning applications and simplifying the programming model for parallel computing.
I received my PhD in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2018. My dissertation topic is the practical fast matrix multiplication algorithms, which can demonstrate performance benefits on single core, multi core, many core, distributed memory CPU architectures and GPUs.
