Engineering Manager
I am the Engineering Manager for Facebook’s Uncertainty team. Our goal is to enhance how engineers use ML today by better characterizing individual predictions and making uncertainty an essential component of these ML systems, resulting in predictions that are robust and interpretable.
I received my PhD in Computer Science from UNC Chapel Hill in 2011. Before I joined Facebook, I worked as a manager in Advanced Analytics division at SAS. I have worked on various projects in machine learning, including reinforcement learning, model interpretability, recommendation systems and feature engineering.
