Meta Research

I am a Research Engineer working from Zürich with the spatial computing group. My main interests are 3D sensing, datasets, and benchmarking. Previously I worked in the research team of Mapillary on related tasks using street level imagery. Before that, I was a postdoc in the Intel Intelligent Systems Lab, where I created a large scale image based 3D reconstruction benchmark (www.tanksandtemples.org). While most of my recent work is in computer vision and ML, I started my academic career at CERN working in experimental detector physics.
