Meta Research

I am currently a Research Manager at Meta. I have led and conducted research in computer vision for over a decade. My research interests in computer vision are currently focused on adversarial learning, transfer learning and intent recognition. I have earned my PhD in computer vision at the University of Maryland in 2006 and have conducted research in computer vision at GE Research for a decade as a lab manager and senior principal scientist before coming to Meta. I have led efforts to apply computer vision to inspection, manufacturing, detection and tracking, video analytics, 3D reconstructions, image search, AutoML and others. I currently have about 30 refereed publications in the field of computer vision.
