David is an engineering manager at Facebook. He has worked on a variety of connectivity projects that help provide more and better internet connectivity to the world, including solar-power unmanned aircraft, free-space optical communication, network planning using advanced optimization and data, connectivity marketplace, and cellular communication systems. Prior to Facebook, David worked on a number of satellite communication systems and high-altitude long-endurance UAVs at Northrop Grumman. He received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees all in electrical engineering from UCLA.
