I am a Data Scientist on the Core Data Science team at Meta. I enjoy applying statistical methodology to real world questions and prior to starting at Meta I primarily focused on health applications. I earned my Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University and completed a postdoc at the National Cancer Institute. My research focused on model calibration and absolute risk prediction methodology applied to breast cancer and public health. For my undergrad at Pomona College, I majored in Mathematics with minors in Biology and Psychology. At Meta, I am interested in understanding user experience and interactions, and building tools to make that experience better.
