I’m a Research Scientist on the Core Data Science team. I’m currently working on disaster mapping and disease modeling, as part of the Data for Good effort. I’ve also contributed to Meta’s efforts to understand drivers of content distribution on our platforms. Methodologically, I have a broad interest in utilizing network science for exploring questions around static and dynamic properties of social networks.
Prior to joining Meta, I was on the founding team of a Fintech startup utilizing graph embeddings for solving problems of data fragmentation in finance. Before that, I worked in the Oxford Internet Institute, where I utilized network science techniques to research barriers to cultural representation on Wikipedia, building on research I did through during an MSc in computer science, with a focus on network science, at the University of Oxford.
