I am a Software Engineer in the Developer Infrastructure team at Meta. My research background is in the area of programming languages and software engineering. Recently, I have been interested in applying probabilistic methods and machine learning to solving practical challenges in these areas (such as code generation, testing, debugging), as part of the “big code” initiative in the community. I obtained my B.Comp. and PhD from the National University of Singapore in 2009 and 2014, respectively. Since then I was a Research Scientist at Rice University (Houston, Texas), before joining Meta in 2018. I publish in software engineering venues (FSE’17, OOPSLA’17) and machine learning venues (ICLR’18, ICML’18).
