Research Scientist
Krishnan joined Facebook in July 2016 as a research scientist in the Computational Photography team. Prior to Facebook, Krishnan spent 6 years at Microsoft Research working on applications of computer vision such as burst photo analysis (Blink app), automatic story telling (PhotoStory app) and image captioning (Bing). Krishnan’s research is primarily motivated by use cases that provide interesting media experiences for consumers.
Krishnan also held Research Scientist positions at Amazon and ObjectVideo. Krishnan graduated with a master’s in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007.
