I am a research scientist at Facebook, currently working in the Akkio team helping solve large scale data placement problems. Prior to Akkio, I worked on ZippyDB, one of Facebook’s largest distributed storage services, building out solutions for multi-tenancy and load balancing. I have a PhD from Georgia Tech with a research background in parallel programming models.
