I am a Research Scientist on the AI Systems Software/Hardware Co-Design team. My research interests include the design, implementation, and analysis of training algorithms and systems. Previously, I completed my Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University under the supervision of Prof. Jorge Nocedal on stochastic, noisy, and derivative-free nonlinear optimization, specifically when function and gradient evaluations may be contaminated by stochastic and computational noise.
