Yaniv Shmueli
Engineering Manager
Yaniv is an Engineering Manager at Facebook, working on Machine Learning problems for location based products. Before joining Facebook, Yaniv worked at Kenshoo as an R&D manager and a software architect. Prior to that, Yaniv led the cable software group at Texas Instruments. Yaniv received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. His research interests include dimensionality reduction, machine learning, particle filters and matrix factorization methods.
