I am a Research Scientist with the network systems team, working on measuring the datacenter network and its protocols to improve application performance and reliability. Before joining Meta, I was a Professor at the University of Maryland studying residential network reliability, anycast performance, BGP routing policies, wireless network reliability, cellular power conservation, and network topologies. I received my PhD at the University of Washington advised by David Wetherall and Tom Anderson, where my thesis work led to an ACM SIGCOMM test-of-time award in 2014.
