UX Researcher

I am a survey methodologist on the UX research team at Facebook. Before joining Facebook, I led the research program on mixed-mode methodology at the European Social Survey for six years. At ESS I designed and directed a probability-based cross-national online survey panel. From 2009 to 2011 I was a research associate at Stanford, working on public opinion surveys about climate change, survey weighting and questionnaire design.

I received my PhD in cross-cultural survey research from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and my dissertation focused on the effects of survey translation on survey measurement comparability. I have a degree in psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
