Meta Research

I joined the Applied Machine Learning (AML) team as a Research Scientist in May 2017. I previously worked at A9/Amazon.com as an applied scientist for 3.5 years. I received my PhD in computer science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2013. My BS and MS degrees are in computer engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. I am broadly interested in combining computer vision and information retrieval concepts to offer practical solutions for data and/or computation intensive problems.
