Meta Research

I am a research scientist at Facebook HQ, where I work on large-scale product recommendation systems to create a personalized experience for Facebook Marketplace users.   Prior to Facebook, I obtained my PhD from Purdue University, where my research included developing novel data mining and machine learning algorithms for applications in various domains, such as distributed representation learning on textual and graph units, information retrieval, recommendation system and data privacy.   I am also actively serving in the program committees of various conferences, including KDD, SIGIR, CIKM, AAAI, IJCAI, ICWSM and ASONAM.
