Terms for Participation in this Community

  • This is an invited community for partners of Facebook Research to help build collaborations and share common interests. All members of this community are subject to the following posting guidelines, which are in addition to and do not modify or supersede the Workplace Platform Terms, Workplace Acceptable Use Policy, Workplace Privacy Policy, and any other relevant terms set forth by Facebook.
  • All content posted in this community should be considered public information with no expectation of confidentiality. Members should not post any content they consider to be confidential or proprietary information of the member, their organization, or of any third party.
  • No member of this community is obligated to enter into any business transaction with any other member of this community as a result of posting content in this community.
  • No member of this community acquires any intellectual property rights of another member as a result of posting content in this community.
  • Any feedback a member provides to another member regarding projects, collaborations or proposals will not be treated as confidential or protected by copyright, and each member is free to use the feedback on an unrestricted basis with no compensation.

Community Rules

  • Be Kind and Courteous We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
  • No Hate Speech or Bullying Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
  • No Promotions or Spam Give more than you take to this community. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
  • Respect Everyone's Privacy Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make this community great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the community should stay in the community.
