Yannis Chronis is a Ph.D. student at the Computer Sciences Department at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, advised by Professor Jignesh M. Patel. He received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Athens, Greece. Yannis’s research interests lie in the area of data management systems. His current work focuses on query optimization and efficient query processing.
