Research

My name is Weizhe Hua and I am a fifth-year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, advised by Professor Edward Suh. My research focuses on improving both the efficiency and security/privacy of machine learning systems by co-developing machine learning algorithms and hardware architectural techniques. My previous work on reverse engineering convolutional neural networks has been selected as a Top Picks in Hardware and Embedded Security 2020. Prior to Cornell, I received my master’s degree from University of Southern California.
