Yi Lu is a third-year PhD student at MIT CSAIL. He works with Prof. Sam Madden in the Database Group. His research focuses on building a new class of distributed in-memory database system that provides high throughput, availability and adaptivity, and is designed to satisfy the needs of the Internet-scale applications with billions of customers.
Yi received his M.Phil. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and his bachelor’s degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, China.
