Zack Misso is a PhD student advised by Dr. Wojciech Jarosz in Dartmouth’s Visual Computing Lab. He received his BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin while being advised by Dr. Etienne Vouga and Dr. Cem Tutum. His research interests lie in physically-based rendering as well as differential rendering where he is looking to expand the scope of realistic rendering methods to become useful tools for solving inverse problems. With most of his experience being in rendering volumetrics, such as clouds, he hopes to one day be able to reconstruct volumetrics perfectly from only a few photographs.
