Moses Namara is a PhD candidate in the Human-Centered Computing (HCC) at Clemson University advised by Dr. Bart Knijnenburg. His research interests are in the field of usable privacy and security, and human computer interaction. He uses interdisciplinary research methods from the fields of computer science, psychology, and the social sciences to understand the principles behind technology user’s privacy attitudes and behaviors, decision making processes, and adoption of technology to aid the design and use of privacy-enhancing technologies. Moses has an M.S. in Computer Science from Clemson University. Prior to Clemson, he completed an A.S in Computer Science from Montgomery College, and B.S in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. He was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda.
