Sergio Romano is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Buenos Aires where he is advised by Santiago Figueira and Mariano Sigman.
His two main areas of interest are artificial intelligence and computational cognitive science, particularly, probabilistic programming and its application to learning.
His goal is to be able to generate algorithms that would mimic the remarkable human capacity to solve so many different tasks without being extensively trained to do so.
