Min Chul Shin is a Ph.D. student in the Electrical Engineering Department at Columbia University, advised by Prof. Michal Lipson. He is interested in incorporating novel photonic systems with computational imaging algorithms. His current research also focuses on AR head-mounted displays, volumetric/computational displays, LiDAR and 3D sensors leveraging silicon photonics.
He obtained a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
