Research

Panagiotis Sioulas is a PhD student at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, working with Professor Anastasia Ailamaki. His research interests lie in database management systems.

Specifically, he aims to design hardware and workload-conscious analytical databases that allow efficiently executing multiple concurrent data-intensive queries by scheduling execution and by exploiting shared data and work across queries.

Previously, he obtained a BSc at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
