Research

I am a Ph.D. student in Applied Physics at the California Institute of Technology, working with Prof. Harry Atwater. My current research is focused on design optimization as well as experimental demonstration of electro-optically tunable active metasurfaces. With this, I aim to realize programmable optical components for AR/VR systems that enable high-speed free-space communication with optimized power efficiency. Previously, I received my MSc and BSc in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich with a specialization in Optics and Photonics.
