Nirvan Tyagi is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University, advised by Tom Ristenpart and located at the NYC Cornell Tech campus. His research focuses broadly on building private and accountable distributed systems. Most recently, he has worked on enabling content moderation in end-to-end encrypted messaging systems through user-driven reporting.
