Elena (Lena) Voita is a Ph.D. student at the University of Amsterdam supervised by Ivan Titov and Rico Sennrich. She is also a frequent visitor at the University of Edinburgh and part of the Edinburgh NLP group. Lena’s research focuses on document-level Neural Machine Translation, as well as understanding what and how neural models learn.
During the first two years of her PhD, Lena was also a research scientist at Yandex Research and worked closely with the Yandex Translate team. Additionally, she taught NLP course at the Yandex School of Data Analysis.
