I am a second-year PhD student in the HCI Group at the University of Würzburg, Germany, advised by Prof. Marc Erich Latoschik and Prof. Carolin Wienrich. Before I enrolled for my PhD, I finished degrees in Human-Computer-Systems (BSc) and Human-Computer Interaction (MSc) at the University of Würzburg. In 2017, I worked as a research intern at the Cognitive Engineering Research Group at the University of Queensland, Australia, supervised by Prof. Penelope Sanderson. With my PhD work centering on the research of individual, application, and system-related factors influencing body perception of embodied avatars in AR/VR, I am contributing to the research of systems complementing traditional body image therapy.
