Nofel Yaseen is a Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania, advised by Vincent Liu. Nofel’s research interests are in the broad areas of distributed systems and networking but include a number of related topics. His recent work aims to design a fine-grained network measurement tool and how we can use these measurements to understand the network traffic patterns.
He led the projects Synchronized Network Snapshots (paper, code) and tpprof: Traffic Pattern Profiler (paper).
Nofel received his BS in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 2017.
